Ingredients
- 1/2 lb plain flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 pint milk
- 1 tbsp cooking fat/lard
Method
- Mix batter ingredients very well, then leave to stand for 30 min.
- Heat oven to 200°C. Put fat into tins, heat in the oven until smoking.
- Put batter in tins, bake in very hot oven until brown.
- Reduce the heat and finish cooking for 10-15 mins.
