Dutch doughnuts traditionally eaten on New Year's Eve. Makes 12.
Ingredients
200g flour
100g raisins
25g fruit peel
3/4 tsp salt (3g)
150ml milk
1 apple
4 sachets of yeast
1 egg
Method
Mix all ingredients together
Allow to rise for 1.5 hours
Deep fry in hot oil (190°C)
