Biscoff & Apple Crumble

Ingredients

For the apple filling

  • 600g apples, peeled and chopped
  • 50g light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cornflour
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp mixed spice
  • 100g Biscoff spread

For the crumble mix

  • 175g plain flour
  • 100g light brown sugar
  • 115g butter, cut into cubes
  • 50g Biscoff biscuits, crushed

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. Chop the apples, then mix with the sugar, cornflour, cinnamon, and mixed spice.
  3. Add the apple mix to a baking dish with the Biscoff spread.
  4. Mix the flour, brown sugar, cubes of butter, and crushed Biscoff biscuits to make the crumble.
  5. Pour the crumble mix over the top of the apple mix.
  6. Bake for 40 minutes and enjoy warm with custard, ice cream, or cream.
